Steven M. Zalewski

Steven M. Zalewski 73 of Langhorne peacefully passed away on February 5, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Joan A. (Alessi) Zalewski. Loving father of Bethany Gaspari (Damian) and Jennifer Schultz (Ronald). Grandfather of Margaret, Elizabeth, Matthew and Ethan. Dear brother of Katherine Kent (Charles), Sandra DiAngiolini (Phillip) and the late Christine Overman. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Steven was a one of the founding members of the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial Society. Steven proudly served in the US Army with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in the Vietnam War. He was a proud Sky Soldier all of his life. Steven was a Teamster and enjoyed being a truck driver for Funks, Pilot, and Yellow Freight. He enjoyed his retired years with his wife of 48 years watching his grandchildren. Steven loved to talk and socialize with just about anyone, especially other veterans. He will be remembered by family and friends as a true friend, protector, and mentor. Relatives and friends are invited to Steven's Life Celebration Friday, March 19, 2021 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at Dunn Givnish of Langhorne, 378 S. Bellevue Ave. Followed by his Funeral Service 2:00PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown PA. Which will be streamed on Facebook Live on the Dunn Givnish Facebook page.
