He is preceded in death by his parents, Stewart B. Evans and Edna Grace McGuire Evans; wife, Geneva Lanette McCann Evans; two sons, Jeff Evans and Steve Evans; one daughter, Sherry Dupree; two brothers, Tommy Evans and Billy Jack Evans; four sisters, Lynn Keown, Grace Bradshaw, Maxine Martin, and Lola Mae Clemons. He is survived by three sons, Danny (Keita) Evans of West Monroe, LA, Kevin (Beverly) Evans of Hampton, Keith (Darcey) Evans of Hampton; two daughters, Tina L. (Bob) Nelson of Hampton, Cindy (Doug) Easterling of Thornton; two brothers, Gary Evans of Junction City, AR and Larry Evans of Junction City, LA; three sisters, Mary Chambliss of Camden, Lou Ann Moore of Camden, Joyce Key of Ward; fifteen grandchildren and several great and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with funeral services following at 1:00 pm with Elder Paul Cayce officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net.
