Stuart Davis Obituary

Stuart Hall Davis, 79, of Norfolk, VA passed away on March 9, 2026. Stuart was born April 24, 1946, to Herman and Lucy Davis in Norfolk, VA. He was a graduate of Maury High School.

Stuart met the love of his life, Patrice Cleek at the Knights of the Pythias. Stuart and Patrice married on December 30, 1994. He dedicated over 50 years of hard work to his career, which includes his service at C.E. Thurston & Sons and Distribution International before retiring. He lived his life centered around his family and his love of baseball, a game that created countless memories shared with those he loved most. Go Yankees!

In addition to his parents, Stuart was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister. Left to cherish his memories are his Wife, Patrice; a sister, Barbara Crocker; his sons, Matthew Allen Davis (Stephanie); Michael Larson; Christopher Larson (Heather); Susan Davis-Foxworth (Jeff); Amanda Davis; Matthew William Davis (Amy); grandchildren, Landon, Alexis, Ava, Camden, Daisy, Katherine, Rowan, Rory, Matthew, Christian, Zachary, Keirsten, and Emily; one great-grandchild, Lincoln; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chesapeake Athletic Club, April 24, 2026, from 4pm-6pm. 3544 Argonne Ave, Norfolk, VA 23509. The family appreciates the love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Azalea Little League in Stuart's honor. Condolences may be left for the family at www.vacremationsociety.com
