Bobby Davis Obituary
My sweet baby brother, you left us yesterday,
And my heart still hurts in every way.
The world feels quieter, the tears still fall,
I wish I could hear your voice just once more call.
But I know you're not alone up there,
Heaven gained you with loving care.
Mama was waiting with open arms,
Ready to hold you safe from harm.
So rest now, my brother, your journey is done,
You're back with Mama, God's chosen one.
No more pain, no more tears to cry,
Just peace and love in the sky.
From your baby sister, please always know,
My love for you will forever grow.
Until the day we meet again someday,
In my heart is where you'll always stay.
Bobby Darnell Davis was born on October 28, 1964, to the late Carrie and Robert Davis. Bobby was known as the life of the party wherever he went. His joyful spirit, laughter, and love for having a good time brought smiles to everyone around him.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie and Robert Davis; two sisters, Kathy L. Davis and Elizabeth McFarland; and two brothers, Robert E. Davis and Kenneth R. Davis.
He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memories forever. He is survived by two sisters, Linda F. Davis of Waynesboro, Mississippi, and Priscilla McDaniel (Willie) of Port Gibson, Mississippi. He is also survived by four brothers: Ollie Carter (Ollie Mae), Jasper Davis (Melissa), and Ronnie Davis, all of Waynesboro, Mississippi, and Jimmy Davis (Nora) of Port Gibson, Mississippi.
Bobby also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who loved and cared for him dearly. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Memorial services will take place Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
