South Pittsburg, TN Sue Johnson Adcock, Age 72, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Born on August 24, 1952, Sue was a lifelong resident of
South Pittsburg, Tennessee. She dedicated over 30 years of her life working at the South Pittsburg Knitting Mill, where her hard work, dedication and warm spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Sue found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved taking family trips to Florida, where she made many cherished memories. Her mornings were often spent enjoying breakfast at Waffle House or grabbing a bite at the Dixie Freeze two of her favorite local spots. Sue also had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved cat, who brought her comfort and companionship, Sue will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle nature, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jack and Della Johnson, brothers; Buddy and Roy Lee Johnson, sister; Jerry Lynn Tatum and husband; Harold Adcock. Sue is survived by her daughter; Holly Rollins, sons; Charlie (Christina) Rollins, Kevin "Goo" Rollins, grandchildren; Brittany and Shea Jones, Courtney Rollins, Rachel Keller, Alivia and Reese Rollins, sisters; Jackie Blackmon and Lucy Barnes; brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Dr Rusty Adcock and Lynn Adcock, several nieces and nephews, great grandchildren; Drake Stevens, Jeremy Bryant, Brielle Jones, Kashton Higgins, Marlorie Claire Murphy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Case officiating. Mrs. Adcock will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Harold Adcock at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. (CDT) prior to the funeral service in the South Pittsburg Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jeff Jones, Michael Jordan, Jeff Muir, Eddie Boochie Moore, Ricky Taylor and Brian Keller.
