WISCONSIN DELLS - Sue Ann Binder, age 92 of Wisconsin Dells, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025 at Prairie Ridge Hospital in Columbus. She was recently residing at the Larson House in Columbus. Sue Ann was born at home in Pine Valley, Clark County, Wis., to William and Susan (Seidelmann) Puttkamer on September 17, 1933. She graduated of the Neillsville High School and married Harland R. Binder/Bender of Mayville on June 6, 1953.

Sue worked in her earlier years at Purity Cheese as a Lab Technician and after her husband died she moved to Wisconsin Dells and worked at a chocolate factory, local hotels and finished her working career at Brakebush Bros in Westfield.

As a child, she had fond memories on her neighbor's farm being around the animals, catching tadpoles, frogs and other critters to bring home. As an adult, she loved spending time with family, grandchildren and friends. She loved to go for car rides in the country to look at the scenery, enjoyed reading books and crocheting. Most of all, Sue Ann loved her kitty cats.

Sue Ann is survived by her children: Harlan (Sandy), Gene and Tim (Connie); as well as step son, Lloyd (Helen) Bender; 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by half-brother, Jim (Dorothy) Schultz; nephews: Dick and Rick; with nieces Linda, Judy and Bobby; and other relatives and friends.

Sue Ann is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons: Robert, Gary, Kenneth Binder; step children: Ellen, Sharon, Carol, Shiela, Richard, Jerry and Wayne Bender; sisters: Marian Kren, Helen Kren; brother, William Puttkamer; and other relatives and friends.

In accordance with Sue Ann's wishes, a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
