Sue Begg, a longtime resident of Fox Chapel, passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Sue was born in Bloomsburg on March 18, 1935, to the late Oliver and Geraldine Fink.
She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Dr. Frank Richard Begg. They enjoyed traveling, a round of golf, but, most importantly, being together.
They passed on this love of life and family to their sons, Richard (Catherine), Todd (Lisa), and Stephen; grandchildren Alex (Ashley), Andrew (Hilary), Chelsea, Emma, Luke, Jack, Lily, and Elle; and great-grandchildren Owen and Leah.
Sue was preceded in death by her brother and sister, Ray and Marianne, two of her closest friends, and she was deeply loved by many nieces and nephews.
Sue lived to bring the family together. She loved summers in Mill Grove, Christmases at Wildberry Road, birthdays, any reason to have a party. She was full of life and full of joy, and we are all better, happier people because we had the privilege of being loved by her.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 4:30 to 6 PM at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont PA 15139.
Sue and Dr. Frank will be interred together at The Verona Cemetery Mausoleum in Oakmont.
