Sue Brindley (Karen Sue Tullis) Jewett, Ohio, passed away at the Harrison County Home surrounded by her loving family on July 21, 2024. She bravely fought cancer for the past 9 years.
Sue was born November 22,1956 to Earl and Shirley Tullis of Jewett. A life-long resident of Jewett, she graduated from Jewett-Scio High School in 1975.
Sue was married to Greg Brindley on July 2, 1977.
She attended Ohio Valley School of Nursing earning her degree in 1993. After, she was employed at Trinity Medial Center West and later worked at Riverside Medical of Ohio.
Sue was always the center of family activities. There was never a boring time at family gatherings with Sue serving as the recreational coordinator and creating a game world for her nieces and nephews.
She was passionate about music, fishing, games, trivia, and her family.
Sue is survived by her husband Greg, sister Michie (Dan) Miller, Greg (Amy) Tullis, Lisa (Doug) Snodgrass), Kim Tullis (Lesa Lillibridge), and sister-in-law Lori (Greg) Tenley. Sue was blessed with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sue's memory to the Harrison County Home, 41500 Cadiz-Dennison Rd, Cadiz, Ohio 43907 or Wendy's Walk at PO Box 25, Jewett, Ohio, 43986.
Friends may gather for calling hours at Koch Funeral Home 101 W Main St Scio, Ohio, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 27, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jewett, Ohio. www.kochfuneral.com
