Sue, 91, was born April 6, 1934 to George and Ruth (Pett) Fruits at Crawfordsville, Indiana. She was a 1952 graduate of Waynetown High School.

She met David Bryan while she was working at RR Donnelley and Sons and they married October 17, 1954. Dave and Sue lived in Crawfordsville ,Indiana their entire married life and raised their three children, Becky, Brenda and Brad in their country home outside of town.

Sue was a longtime member of Young's Chapel Christian Church. She was active in the Ladies Aid, loved to sing in the choir and lead song services. She also taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years.

Sue was an avid gardener, canning many quarts of beans, tomatoes, and pickles grown with love. She was a wonderful cook, with pies being her specialty. She loved to crochet and sewed clothing for herself and her daughters. Sue enjoyed playing Bunco and was in a Euchre club with husband Dave.

Dave and Sue shared 58 years together before Dave passed away in 2013. In 2014, Sue moved to Liberty, Missouri to be close to her daughter Becky and Granddaughter Angela during her golden years.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Hadley and Richard, and daughter Brenda.

She is survived by her daughter Rebecca (Terry) Rhoads, Liberty, MO., a son Brad, Los Angeles CA., a brother Dan, Juneau AK., three grandchildren, Angela ( Mark) Floersch, Brooke (Lee )Hoeppner , and Andrew (Rachael) Driscoll, six great grandchildren, Antonio and Ian Martinez, Alaina and Savannah Floersch, and Anna and Ezra Hoeppner, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday Jan.3, at Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 to 11am before the service.

Internment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery North.

Memorials can be made to Young Chapel Christian Church, 4527 N 200 E , Crawfordsville, Indiana 47933.
