Sue Clem Obituary

Sue Lynn Clem (nee Bayless), 87, of Elyria, died Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Hospice of the Western Reserve, Medina, Ohio. She was born May 8, 1938 in Marion, Indiana and was a 1956 graduate of Fairmount High School. She was employed for 38 years at Ridge Tool Company, retiring in 2008. Sue was formerly active with PTA, enjoyed playing golf, going to Amish Country in Ohio and was co-pilot with her husband on numerous motorcycle trips on their Honda Goldwing.

Sue is survived by her husband of 67 years, Harold L. 'Bill'; sons, Gregory (Nancy) Clem of Fairmount and Jeffery (Chris) Clem of Vermilion, Ohio; grandchildren, Courtney (Derek) Middlesworth, Nathan (Lauren) Clem and Robert (Katelyn) Solnick; great-grandchildren, Katie, Kyle and Laura Middlesworth; sister, Jane (Robert) Peacock; and a brother, Ramon Bayless.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Esther (nee Hiatt) Bayless.

There will be a private graveside service at a later date. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.

Arrangements were in the care of Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elyria, Ohio.
