Sue Foster Obituary
Graveside services for Mrs. Sue Morris Foster will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 5, 2026, at New Hebron Cemetery with the Reverend Micah Rutland officiating. Mrs. Foster, age 89, passed away early Thursday morning, January 1, 2026, at the Lawrence County Hospital. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Family and friends are invited to gather at New Hebron Cemetery at 10:45 a.m. on Monday.
Jimmy Butler, Mac Marsh, Matthew Marsh, Andrew Marsh, Darrell Mosley, and Ben Mosley will serve as pallbearers.
Sue was born on January 22, 1936, in New Hebron, MS, to Vernon L. and Johnnie Benson Riley. A homemaker, she was a lifelong resident of the New Hebron Community and a member of the Old Hebron Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon L. and Johnnie (Nuna) Riley; her husbands Glynn Morris and Alsa Foster; her son, Joey Glynn Morris, and her brothers, Robert and Jimmy Riley.
She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Butler (Jimmy), Jane Marsh (Mac), Cheri Morris, and her sisters, Elizabeth Bryan and Louise Lane. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
