Elizabeth Sue Haynes of Scranton, Arkansas, died Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at her home. She was born on May 24, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Charles W. Witt and Beatrice I. (Ewing) Witt. She was almost 69 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Sue was a 1972 graduate of Lamar High School and was of the Baptist faith.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13th at Prairie View Cemetery in Prairie View, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the graveside service will be the Rev. Shane Kasper.
She is survived by her companion of 26 years, John Gattis; her son, Jeremy Haynes and wife Ida of Subiaco; a sister, Nancy Sparks of Lamar; a brother, Fred Davis of the state of Delaware; and two granddaughters, Kina and Kimmie.
Pallbearers are Kaden Flint, Hunter Cravey, Roger Justus, Jacob Owens, Marshall Gattis, and Josh Flint.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

I haven't see Sue in some years. She was a kind person and I will miss knowing she isn't in this world somewhere. God Bless the Family. RIP Sue.
