Sue was born on November 13, 1946, in Frankfort, KY. Sue lived her life full of love, laughter, and her unwavering kindness. Sue was known for her warm spirit and generous heart. She dedicated her life to her family, always putting them first, creating a loving home filled with cherished memories. Her amazing food brought everyone together, making every holiday extra special.
Sue is survived by her children Dana (Joseph) Bryant, Michelle Hazlett, & Carmen (Michael) Allen; her brothers, Timmy Johnson & David Marksberry, several grandchildren and great grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of love and strength; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her late husband Don Mitchell, her father, Estill Marksberry; her mother Virginia Gill, her brother Marvin Marksberry, and her sisters Tammy Dews & Teresa Marksberry.
A Visitation will be 11am-1pm Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Clark Legacy Center-Frankfort, KY followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1pm. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Sue Mitchell will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
