Sue Najarian Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care, P.A. on Apr. 18, 2025.
Sue Najarian (Tinsley) was born on September 12, 1946, in Washington, D.C., to Albert and Elsie Tinsley. The eldest of seven children, Sue was a spirited child-often a handful for her parents-but always the darling of the family.
On April 17, 1962, Sue married her childhood sweetheart, John Najarian. Their enduring love carried them through nearly five decades of marriage, until John's passing in 2011.
Sue is survived by her beloved children: Angela Najarian (Charles Collier), Michael Najarian (Kim), Lisa Najarian (Danny Hart), Anthony Najarian (Andrea), and Esther Nysulu (Emanuel). She was a devoted grandmother to Kristian Edwards, Kaleigh Williamson (Brandon), Jeffrey Ronaldi (Marnie McLain), Samantha Collier, Zachary Hart, Dylan Hart, Tyler Najarian (Meggie), Kyle Najarian, Gabrielle Hart-McBroom (Kendra), Eric Najarian, Christopher Bolarinwa, Emily Najarian, and Victoria Bolarinwa. Her legacy also lives on through her great-grandchildren, Declan and Delaney Williamson.
She is also survived by her siblings, Connie Moyers and Tim Tinsley. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Bobby, Jerry, Ricky, Stevie, and Angela Tinsley.
In the early years of her marriage, Sue dedicated herself to raising her children. Later, she opened a home daycare, nurturing and guiding countless young lives. When her children were grown, she continued to bring her warmth and energy to the community, including her memorable years working at the Blockbuster in Crofton, Maryland, where she took joy in making new friends.
Following John's passing, Sue moved to the beach and spent several peaceful years by the water before returning to the Crofton area to be closer to friends and her growing family. She passed away on April 17, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Sue will be remembered for her strong will, big heart and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel at home. Sue's kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

I will miss Sue so much. She was so strong willed and funny as heck. She would always come and visit the fish and seahorses with me. I will miss her very much.

In quiet moments, a life's choice, Your strength and wisdom, a beacon bright, We miss you dearly, through day and night. Gone from this world, yet forever near, A guiding spirit, in every tear. We miss you.

My deepest sympathy to Sue's family,

Traci

In Loving Memory of Aunt Sue
From Greg

Aunt Sue was one of a kind-sweet as sugar, sassy in the best way, and endlessly loving. She had this incredible energy that made every moment brighter and every memory unforgettable.

I´ll never forget our Bloomingdale´s shopping spree in the `90s-her style, her flair, and her joy in finding just the right thing made those days so special. Our adventures in San Diego hold a special place in my heart too-trips to Tijuana, the magic of Disneyland, the glamour of Hollywood, and that unforgettable moment when she and my mom bumped into Vanna White on Rodeo Drive.

But my most cherished memory is our last visit together in San Diego. We soaked up the sun, shared laughs at the movies, and ended the day at a little ice cream parlor, reminiscing about old times. We laughed until our sides hurt. It was simple, sweet, and so very "Sue."

I will love you forever, Aunt Sue. I miss you more than words can say.

Love always,
Greg
