Most of all, Sue cherished time with her family and her canine companion, Philly.

Funeral services will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. 519 Walnut St. Columbia PA on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Care Pastor Dan Sigmon, officiating.

Friends may view at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Sue E. Richardson, 70 of Mountville, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Randy L. Richardson, Sr. with whom she was married 50 years until his passing in 2022. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Harry Burger Sr. and Saramae Bartholomew Burger.

Sue graduated in 1973 from Eastern High School and retired after 15 years of service from Armstrong World Industries where she was employed as a customer service representative. She previously was employed as a divisional leader at 1 to 1 Contact Center.

She was a member of the Harley Owners Group, Elstonville Sportsman Club and enjoyed camping, trips to the beach, crafting with diamond art and rooting for the Eagles and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Sue also volunteered with the Wrap Up Project providing scarfs and hats for the homeless in Lancaster and Columbia. Most of all, she cherished time with her family and her canine companion, Philly.

She is survived by her children, Randy L. Jr. husband of Lisa Richardson; Mindy wife of Jay Shellenberger and grandchildren, Carley and Caleb. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Burger, Jr.

Funeral services will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. 519 Walnut St. Columbia PA on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Care Pastor Dan Sigmon, officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may view at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial contributions in Sue's memory may be made to the S.P.C.A or to the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania.
