Willie Sue Rogers Shelby, age 82, resident of Oakland, Tennessee, departed this life Wednesday morning, August 28, 2024 at the National HealthCare Center in Somerville, Tennessee.
Sue was born March 22, 1942 in Fayette County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Clifton Edward Rogers and Ethel Elizabeth Stainback Rogers. She enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing and special times with her family.
Ms. Shelby is survived by her daughter, Susan Howe; three sons, Randy Webb, Billy Webb (Melody) and Jackie L. House, Jr. (Candice); fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Billy Rogers, Lowell “Fay” Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, Jack Rogers, Jerry Rogers and Earl Rogers; her grandson, Caden Webb; and her great-grandson, Noah Gaspar.
Funeral Services for Ms. Shelby were held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Kevin Treadway officiating.
