Sue Lynne Witcher Smith, age 78 of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed away Thursday morning, December 14, 2023 at the Macon Community Hospital ER in Lafayette, TN. Sue is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Funeral Services for Sue Lynne Witcher Smith will be conducted Saturday afternoon, December 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother Jackie Rich & Neel Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitley Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Friday afternoon from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Kenneth & Maitred Yates (Neel) Witcher & sister, Sandy Comer.
She is survived by: husband, Fred H. Smith of Red Boiling Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy & Randy Carver of Lafayette; son and daughter-in-law, Neel & Tammy Smith of Lebanon; 4 grandchildren & their spouses, Ben & Kelli Carver, Jordan & Hannah Carver, Peyton & Tyler Ring, Parker & Julianna Smith; 6 great-grandchildren, Haidyn, Raelyn, Maverick, Owen, Griffin, & Hayes; sister and brother-in-law, Debby & Mike Prock of Lafayette; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken & Susan Witcher of Red Boiling Springs, Russ & Tera Witcher of Cookeville.
