Sue Vose

Sandra Sue (White) Vose, age 76, a resident of Philippi, West Virginia departed this life on Friday, October 25, 2024, in the comfort of her daughter's home Janice White. She had been declining in health. She was born on April 17, 1948, in Philippi, WV. A daughter to the late Ira White and Margie (Henry) Cunningham. She is survived by her beloved daughter; Janice S. White of Philippi, grandchildren; Jared Kitsko of Fla., and Savannah Wyatt of Philippi, sisters; Mary Whetzel, and husband Bob of Junior, and Debbie Schimansky and husband Steve of Brownton; former husband, David Vose of Belington, nephews and nieces: DJ, Shauna, Marlena, and, Judith, extended family by love; Vicki, Dusti, and Sheri. Sue was a Nurse's Assistant at Saint Joseph's Hospital before becoming disabled. She had a passion for crocheting, making jewelry, crafts, and loved to travel. Sue loved her family with her whole heart spending time with her grandchildren. Planning and preparing for family holidays was her favorite activity. She was very dedicated to her job, and she loved the clients she cared for. Sue will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5pm until 7pm at the Kittle Family Funeral Home, 265 Beech Ave., Philippi. A funeral service will be conducted at 7pm, with Pastor Benita Swick officiating. In honoring Sue's wishes her remains will be cremated.
