SUMITRABEN T. PATEL, 93, from Aiken, SC passed away on February 1st, 2024, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She passed away peacefully at Piedmont Augusta Hospital and will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A native of Mahudha, Gujarat, India, Sumitra was a daughter of Dahyabhai and Diwaliben Patel.
Survivors include four children, Rashmin (Rita) T. Patel, Chhaya (Jayaprakashbhai) J. Patel, Kalpana (Kiritbhai) K. Rao, and Hiren (Rita) T. Patel; 8 Grandkids- Harini (Snehal) Rao-Kadia, Chinar (Purvik) Patel, Priyanka (Vinesh) Patel, Janki (Samir) Patel, Utsva (Roshni) Patel, Zeel Patel, Shray Patel and Neal Patel; 7 Great-Grand Kids- Vinay Patel, Prisha Kadia, Aarnav Patel, Shravi Kadia, Niva Patel, Ansh Patel and Viaan Patel.
The Antyesti (Funeral Service) will be Sunday morning, February 4th at 11 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
