Sunil Kumar Gupta, of Bridgeton, MO, passed away peacefully at home on December 28, 2024 at age 68. Beloved husband of Madhu for 42 years until his passing. Proud father of sons Aksh and Hersh, and daughters-in-law Deanna and Jane.
Born in Delhi, India to Harnam Das and Santosh Gupta. Oldest brother of Anil (Sangeeta), Sanjay (Alka), Ajay (Smita) and the late Anita (Vijay Kumar). Survived by his mother, brothers, sisters-in-law, and a loving family of uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends throughout India and the United States.
With the help of his uncle Surendra and aunty Karen Gupta, he bravely brought his family to America in 2003, settling in St. Louis, and started a new chapter. Sunil and his wife purchased a local neighborhood store, O’Malley’s Market, in 2014. He was warmly nicknamed “Sunny” and beloved by regular customers, vendors, and the community.
He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
