Susan Marie Baumgardner

Susan Marie Baumgardner, 78 of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at home with family by her side. She was born on August 3, 1947, in Fort Wayne to the late Earl and Luella (Jacobs) Bryant.

Susan was loving, kind and sweet. She loved people and knew no strangers. She enjoyed Sudoku, Candy Crush, Facebook, jigsaw puzzles and shopping. She loved nature, and had a particular fondness for dandelions, sunflowers, doves, robins and trees. Most of all she cherished the time spent with friends and family. Look for 3’s and that’s her saying hello (if you know, you know).

She is survived by her children, Laura (Mike) Puckett, Vernon (Rob) Lintermuth, Lenora Lintermuth and Jamie (Corey) Trosper; six grandchildren, Samantha, Ian, Bethany, Thomas, Miya and Jocelyn, three great grandchildren, Averie, Carter and Carl, and sister Sandy Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sharon.

A memorial visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington to Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Beginning at 3:30 pm, friends and family are invited to share memories and stories of Susan.
