On March 31st, 2025, Susan Elaine Bishop, 58, of Cumming, GA peacefully gained her angel wings. She was born on September 29th, 1966 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA to Billy Ray and Patricia Offenbacker. After graduating from South Cobb High School in 1984, Susan went to work for ADP in 1986 where she continued to work there for almost 39 years. Then, on May 2nd, 1998, she gave birth to her pride and joy, Sara Bishop. Susan was predeceased by her father, Billy Ray Offenbacker, in 2003 and her beloved dog, Thor, in 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Sara Bishop, brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Dana Offenbacker, and mother, Patricia Offenbacker. Susan also leaves behind a village of heartbroken cousins, nephews, friends, coworkers, and adopted family.

Susan lived by the motto “always make memories,” and she filled her life full of adventure and laughter. Whether it was going on a cross-country road trip with her daughter or going on a cabin or beach trip with her “Bunco Girls,” she filled every corner of her life with lifelong memories. Susan also had a benevolent personality, and she dedicated her life taking care of the people around her. She was always the first person people would call during a crisis because she always knew what to do to help. Susan knew no stranger and built an army of loving friends over the years.

The world was a brighter place with Susan in it, and this loss has left a huge hole in all of our hearts. But as the world weeps, we find comfort in knowing that there is no doubt that she was accepted into those pearly gates. You are loved, Susan, and you will be missed deeply.
