Obituary
Susan Maryetta Bybee(née Grannis) passed away on December 14, 2021. She was deeply loved by her family: husband David(married 53 years), son Daniel and daughter in law Ann(Bonner) and granddaughter Charlotte, daughter Jennifer and grandchildren Josh, Mackenzie and Hannah.
Susan was born in Palo Alto, CA and graduated from Palo Alto High School. She attended UC Santa Barbara (BA-History and Cal Poly-SLO (Ed).
Susan's interests included exploring the world through photography, traveling, and hiking in the mountains and by the Pacific Ocean.
Throughout her life, Susan was a valued employee and volunteer with multiple organizations where she shined at sharing her talents caring for those around her and her knack for developing integrated systems to make tasks flow more smoothly. Her most recent volunteer work included Children's Hospital in Highlands Ranch and Nourish(Meals on Wheels).
Susan will especially be remembered by her family and those that knew her for her thoughtful gifts of love and time. She was a generous supporter and was always willing to help those around her. She was an amazing listener and champion for those that she loved, always lifting them up to believe that they were capable of anything they put their mind to. She will be truly missed by her family and those that were blessed to know her.
