Susan Lynn Cook, 61, passed away unexpectedly at her Palatka residence on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
A native of Trenton, New Jersey, Susan had lived in Palatka for the past 17 years coming from Trenton. She had worked as a certified registered nurse and was of the Christian faith. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing Pacino and Bingo, watching movies and soap operas, and she loved butterflies.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Robert Kratzer; and her brother, Bobby Kratzer.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, John E. Cook of Palatka; her mother, Susan Woolverton of Trenton, NJ; two sons, Steven Kratzer and Daniel Kratzer, both of Trenton NJ; two daughters, Carmen Serrano of Ocala, and Reina Del Toro (Melvin) of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Regina Merrill of Trenton, NJ, Nancy Hums (Edward) of Trenton, NJ, and Kim Gettler; eleven grandchildren, Yazmein Davis, Keishaun Davis, Alex Merrill, Zachery Merrill, Donte Merrill, Angelo Kratzer, Shayna Kratzer, Joseph Kratzer, Christian Kratzer, Xavier Del Toro, and Andrea Del Toro; a great grandson, K.J.; and her best friend, Carol Kostka (Jeff) of Interlachen.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Holly Ridge Apartments in Palatka with Ms. Jesten Peters officiating.
