She was born August 5, 1968, in Johnson County, the daughter of Willie Ramey of Salyersville and the late Sue Slone Ashmore. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Keith Kennard, and her son, Brian Keith Kennard.

Susie is survived by her husband, Stanley Easterling; one stepson, Rodney Easterling of West Liberty; two sisters, Loretta Hopkins of West Liberty and Billie Burson of Salyersville; a special aunt, Daisy Ramey of London; a niece, Amanda Sloas; several great-nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.

She worked with Lion Apparel in West Liberty for 23 years and was formerly employed at IGA in West Liberty. Susie loved the outdoors-fishing, deer hunting, and riding 4-wheelers. She especially enjoyed farming and caring for her goats and chickens. Most of all, she treasured time with her husband and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
