I met Susie when I moved to Avon, Ohio and joined the New Westsiders Club. She had the best smile and was always kind, attentive, and soft spoken. I remember when she first got her dog and learned how to care for its beautiful coat on her own, she was very independent.
Susie came to our home one day to teach me how to arrange my framed art pieces. First we layed out different arrangements on the floor before putting holes in the walls. Next we used newspaper to make an outline of each frame and cut them out as a pattern to tape our final arrangement on the wall. Once I was happy with the placements, I was to center the nail, pound it into the wall then hang the picture in place. Next we simply pulled the paper pattern down and threw it away. She taught me this easy trick that designers use and I've been doing it that way ever since. In exchange for sharing her designer expertise with me, my husband assisted Susie with her new iPad and taught her some short cuts to make it more user friendly.
I shared many wonderful times with Susie through the New Westsiders luncheons and events. She will be missed but not forgotten. Rest in Peace my friend. Joyce Gruss

Susie's smile would light up a room. That is how I met her - she gave me that big smile at the gym. Such a warm, positive person. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Bryon and Family, I can t begin to say how sorry I am for your loss, I only ever met Susie once, but I found her to be the most kindest and considerate friend I ever had. I know she will be missed and I for one will miss her also.
