Susan Feldman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services - Parkville on Dec. 26, 2025.
Susan Ann "Suzie" Feldman, aged 72, passed away on December 16, 2025, at her home in Baltimore, Maryland.
Born on October 9, 1953, in Springville, New York, Suzie was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Elizabeth "Betty" (Gentner) Feldman. She grew up with her surviving sister Jeanne Feldman and brother Thomas Feldman who preceded her in death in 2018.
Suzie's journey was one of growth, resilience, and heart. She earned a degree in Physical Education from Brockport State University and pursued graduate studies in Athletic Administration at Kent State University. Her curiosity and drive later led her to complete studies in Network Information Systems at Steven's Institute of Technology.
Her professional path wove together her love for athletics and technology. Suzie began as a teacher and coach at Ellicottville Central School District, where she encouraged young minds both in the classroom and on the field. She later brought her passion for sports to Goucher College before embarking on a new chapter as an Information Specialist at Verizon.
For 26 years, Suzie shared her life with her beloved wife, Mary Michelle (Shelly) Lykins. Together they embraced the open road as devoted campers, finding joy and connection in travel with friends. Suzie also held a treasured role in the lives of her nieces and nephews, offering them enduring support and affection. Remembered as a devoted wife, loving daughter, dear sister, cherished aunt, and thoughtful friend, Suzie's presence was one of warmth and quiet strength. Her vibrant spirit touched those around her-through laughter around campfires or encouragement from the sidelines.
May Susan Ann "Suzie" Feldman's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Suzie's name to Gilchrist Center Towson, Hospice Care Center, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2026 in Baltimore, date to be announced and a graveside service will be held in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Springville, NY in the spring, date to be announced.
