Susan E. Fjeldstad, 82, of Sheboygan, went peacefully to be with her Lord on March 12, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center, Sheboygan. She was born on December 4, 1942 to the late Carl and Lillian (Mueller) Weber in Sheboygan. Susan graduated from Sheboygan Central High School, Class of 1961. After high school Sue worked as a banker and then moved to Chicago where she worked in the Prudential Building. Upon moving back to Sheboygan, Sue met and was united in marriage to Daniel Fjeldstad on September 5, 1970.
Sue was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sheboygan; where she was baptized, confirmed and attended school. At Trinity she was involved with the Alter Guild, the Auxiliary (where she was secretary) and was a Grandma Helper. Sue was very involved and volunteered countless hours to her children’s activities growing up.
Sue enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, reading, and watching Jeopardy. She loved trips to Door County, Christmastime and spending time with her family and close friends. Sue was selfless, loving and had such a welcoming spirit. She left an everlasting impact on those she met. Her family was her pride and joy, especially her children and grandchildren.
Sue is survived by her children Tim Fjeldstad and Sarah (Jason) Anderson; grandchildren, Avery (Ellie) Huibregtse, Abigail Anderson and Leah Anderson; one great-grandson Malcolm; Rylee Woiak and her three children, Ayden, Alayna and Amara; sisters-in-law, Laurie (Kevin) O’Leary and Kathy Weber; great-nephew Travis and family; special cousins; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Fjeldstad; her parents Carl and Lillian Weber; her brother Carl F. Weber; her in-laws David and Marie Fjeldstad; brothers-in-law David and John Fjeldstad; and her special niece Bonnie.
A funeral service for Sue will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 5:30pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 W. Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00pm until the time of service. Her service will be available via livestream recording on the funeral's website. Sue will be laid to rest privately at Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Sue’s name.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Woody and staff at Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, who are considered extended family. Another special thank you to dear friend Yo and her family; the staff at Aurora Medical Center, Sheboygan, especially, Emily and Progressive Nursing Home, for their care and support.
