Kansas City, Missouri - Susan Jean (Mihelic) Frank, 74, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, after a courageous journey with Alzheimer's disease. She was born July 21, 1951, in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Susan devoted 43 years to teaching, inspiring generations of students with her patience, encouragement, and love of learning. Teaching was not just her profession, but her calling.
She loved travel and adventure, had a deep affection for animals, and brought kindness and warmth to those around her.
Susan is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert, and her son, Chris, along with extended family and many friends.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026 at Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 p.m. on Friday with a Rosary held at 1:30p.m. The Interment will follow services Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Alzheimer's research or St. Luke's Hospice House in Susan's memory. Full online obituary and condolences at www.ruppfuneral.com
