Susan Grabowski Obituary
surrounded by her family after her hard-fought battle with cancer.
Susan was born to Donald Scott and Joyce (LeBlanc) Scott on October 18, 1957 at Dow AFB, ME. She grew up in
Williamstown, NY. After graduating from high school, Susan served the United States Air Force as a Research and
Demand Processing Clerk for four years. Susan enjoyed crafting. She was co-owner of Jnscrafts. She and her
husband had a craft shop located at the NC State Fairgrounds.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, MSgt James (Jim) H. Grabowski Jr., USAF, RET; children,
James H. Grabowski III and Jaime (Jason) Caldwell; Brothers and sisters, Don (Pamela) Scott, David (Cheri) Scott,
Debra Scott, Catherine (Bruce) Derr, Michael (Wendy) Scott, Russell (Michelle) Scott, and Tim (Gwen) Scott. As
well as several grandchildren.
Plans for a local Celebration of Life service will be announced in the near future. Friends and family will gather at a
private service to celebrate a life-well lived and burial service in the summer of 2026 in Altmar, New York.
