Susan Graf Obituary
Age 75, of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Susan is survived by her loving children: Dawn Donnellan, Jennifer (Russell) Zimny; grandchildren: Jordan (Joseph) Banass, Kaitlynn (Nicholas) Hernandez, Ryan Zimny, Carter Zimny, and her beloved pup Cooper.
Susan was proceeded in death by her parents Henry and Florence Capsack, her loving husband of 5 years Thomas Graf.
Susan was a woman of simple joys and unmistakable passions. She loved spending quiet moments with a good game of solitaire or her favorite online puzzles, always keeping her mind sharp and her competitive spirit alive. An avid online shopper, she especially enjoyed QVC and HSN, finding excitement in discovering new items and special finds that brightened her days.
She loved the color purple and enjoyed accessorizing with her favorite jewelry, scarves, handbags, and anything that let her add a touch of her favorite shade.
Her heart belonged to her dogs, especially her beloved Cooper. Her connection to them was steady and deeply felt. She also had a talent for creating wonderful meals, especially her famously delicious salads, crafted with care and her unmistakable touch.
Exceptionally articulate with numbers, she was a dedicated bookkeeper who took pride in balancing every account down to the last penny. Her precision and attention to detail were admired by everyone who worked with her.
She will be deeply missed and remembered with love.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9 AM until the time of services at 12PM. Interment, Good Shepard Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
