Susan M. Hepfer

Susan M. Hepfer, 66 of Ridley Park died on September 7, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Stanley and Melina Berrecca Merlino, she lived in Philadelphia before moving to Ridley Park in 1989.

Susan was an active member of St. Gabriel R.C. Church in Norwood and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. She loved visiting the beach and her "happy place" at Shellbay Campground in New Jersey. She also loved her dogs, cooking, going to yard sales and the Christmas season but most important was her family, especially her cherished grandchildren and her many friends.

She was the loving wife of 47 years to Harold "Ralph" Hepfer, Jr., devoted mother of Stanley J. Hepfer (Tracy), Tiffaney M. Seifert (Danny), Stephen L. Hepfer (Jaclyn) and Gregory M. Hepfer (Jackie), cherished grandmother of River, Quintin and Dakota Seifert and Makayla, Logan and Sophia Hepfer, she was also the sister of Josephine Gaudiello (late Pat) and the late Anna Merlino.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Monday, September 15, 2025 at St. Gabriel R.C. Church, 233 Mohawk Avenue, Norwood where relatives and friends may call 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Burial private.
