Susan Hoffman

Susan G. (Robin) Hoffman passed unexpectedly on February 9, 2023, with her family by her side. She is survived by her son Howard Hoffman (Lori), daughter Heidi Hoffman, daughter Wendy Wall (Griffin) and three grandchildren Sam Hoffman, Hannah Hoffman, Ryan Wall, and her brother, Jerry Robin (Sima).
Sue was a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed volunteering in the community and being involved in her children's lives. She spent many years working alongside her husband, Sid, at Manufacturers Furniture Showroom. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren. Especially watching them participate in their hobbies and sports.
Sue loved to golf with her friends. She was always up for a game of mahjong or cards. She loved to host parties and activities, it didn't matter if it was an impromptu pool party or a super bowl party, her home was always open to friends.
She loved spending time with her friends "Up North" as well as with her "Florida Friends". She may have called them friends, but they all were truly family.
Thank you to all the staff at Gulf Coast Medical Center for the care and kindness they showed her and her family.
Funeral services will be held WEDNESDAY, February 15th at 11am at Temple B'nai Jeshurun, 5101 Grand Ave., Des Moines, IA 50312. If you are unable to attend and would like to view the service, a live stream will be available at 10:45 at www.ilescares.com.
