Susan Elizabeth (Yager) Kapff, 50, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 24, 2025 after a 9-year battle with cancer.
She was born on September 20, 1975, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Robert and Ann Yager. She was a 1994 graduate of Wayne High School. She graduated from Miami University with bachelors degrees in International Studies and German, and was a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a service fraternity.
She married Richard Kapff on June 5, 2004. She was a dedicated employee for both Pearson and Zaner Bloser. She loved scrapbooking, gardening, count cross stitch, photography, and traveling to Germany.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard, father Robert (Janet) Yager, sister Karen (Marc) Albrecht, in-laws Richard and Suzanne Kapff, and nieces and nephews, Janelle, Adam, Caroline and Cora Albrecht. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Yager.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, at 12pm at Shaw-Davis funeral home, 4341 North High Street, Columbus Ohio, with calling one hour prior. Burial will take place at Union Grove Cemetery.
Memorials can be made in Susan’s honor to Central Ohio Hospice.
