Susan Annette Kasinger, age 74 of Billett, passed away January 21, 2025, at Robinson Rehab and Nursing. She was born October 22, 1950, to Hobert and Margaret (Kurtilla) Ackman.
On February 10, 1968 in Ridgway, IL, she married James Kasinger, Sr. who preceded her in death.
Susan earned her nursing degree at Wabash Community College. She was a member of Billett United Methodist Church, the American Legion, and the VFW. She loved reading and her little dogs.
Surviving family includes three sons- Darrin Kasinger and his wife Pam of Muscatine, IA; Brian Kasinger and his wife Carrie of Princeton, IN; and Charles Kasinger and his wife Laura of West Salem, WI: one daughter- Annette Kasinger of Billett, IL: eight grandchildren- Tanner, Kourtney, Raylynn, Lilly, Charlie, Reggie, Christopher and Chase: three great-grandchildren-Tilly, Amiyah and Kash: two brothers- Dan Ackman and his wife Gloria of Dundas, IL and David Ackman of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband of 56 years, and her son, James "Jimmy" Kasinger, II.
