Susan Kreeger Obituary
Susan graduated from DeForest High School in 1967. She worked at American Family Insurance for nearly 40 years, retiring as an executive secretary. She married Lonnie Kreeger on August 23, 1969, at Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington, WI, and they recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Susan and Lonnie had three children - Jeffrey, Jennifer, and Jessica.
Susan and Lonnie lived in Morrisonville for many years, near Susan's mother, whom they were deeply devoted to. They enjoyed going for motorcycle rides, gardening, and listening to music. Once retired, they moved to Richland Center, WI, and enjoyed watching wildlife pass through their yard.
Susan was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She selflessly loved others, gave freely, and never gave up - especially in her fight against MS. She was always there to encourage and remind people of the positive qualities she saw in them. She was curious and kind, loved to read, a skilled genealogist, and would give anything to anyone who needed it. To know Susan was to know a friend.
Susan is survived by her husband, Lonnie Kreeger; son, Jeffrey Kreeger; daughters: Jennifer Adkins [David] and Jessica Olson [Benjamin]; grandsons: Logan and Miles; granddaughter, Coralie; brothers: George, Sidney and Gary; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Victoria; father, Glenn; brother, Dennis; and sister, Ellen.
Our sincere appreciation to Agrace, Richland Hospital, Pine Valley and Susan's home health team for the dignity and care they showed her. A special thank you to Dr. Chokioan for his unwavering compassion and kindness.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, W6906 County Road. K, Arlington, WI. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
