Susan A. Kuhn, 79, of Nashport, died at 10:30 P.M. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 7, 1946, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Elsie (Spinks) Wright Sr. Susan worked as a Case Manager for Muskingum County Job and Family Services – Child Support Division from 1988, until she retired in 2016. She had an adventurous spirit and found joy in the great outdoors, boating and camping. She loved traveling with her girlfriends, and wintering in Florida with her husband, Ray. Susan loved her family dearly and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Troy (Jennifer) Miller, a daughter, Taryn (Troy) Atkinson; step children, Steve (Christy) Kuhn, Bradley (Anita) Kuhn and Leanne (Brian) Rhodes; grandchildren, Toni Miller, Troy Miller Jr., Cassandra Goff, Wyatt Goff, HM2 (SW/AW) Tyler Pitcock, Brooklyn Pitcock, Addisyn Atkinson, Ainsley Atkinson, Brittany Fry, Tiffani Kuhn, Brittany Cook, Bryson Kuhn, Jackie Reeder, John Micheal Lazear and Derek Lazear; great grandchildren, Briggs, Quinton, Motley, Cooper, Rowan, Nolan, Hudson, Truett, Rory and Sidney. She is also survived by her brother, Robert (Pat) Wright and sister, Charlene Noland.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Raymond Lee Kuhn who passed away on January 20, 2021; her son, T.J. Miller; her sister, Penny Core; and her grandson, Jonathan Kuhn.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service starting at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Celebrant Lindsay Michel officiating. Susan will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Ray at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
