Susan was a student of mine. I have good memories of her in my classroom and of conversations we had whenever I saw her long afterward. She was a lovely person to know. When she accompanied her mother to the cancer treatments, I saw what a loving daughter she was. She and I talked while her mother and my husband were seeing their doctors.
Later, whenever or wherever I saw her we always had stories to tell each other. My thoughts and prayers go out to her brother, Marvin, and to all of her family. She will be missed.
