Rea Funeral ChapelSusan Dawn McMannama, 70, of Warsaw, MO, passed away on September 19, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 8, 1955, in Boonville, MO, to Leon and Gloria D. Snapp, both of whom preceded her in death.
On February 5, 2005, in Sedalia, MO, she married Alfred "Chris" McMannama Jr., who survives her.
Susan graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1973 and earned an Associate's degree in Nursing from State Fair Community College in 1976. She dedicated 44 years to her nursing career at Bothwell. Susan enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and spending time with her Great Danes. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Chris, Susan is survived by two sons, Dennis Gerken Jr. (Jackie) and David Gerken (Michelle); one step-son, Chris McMannama Jr.; one daughter, Deborah Williams (John); six grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Jacob, Makalia, Lassie, and Karrya; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Tom Snapp (Annette); and many nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Eddie Ray Snapp; step-son, Tim McMannama; and granddaughter, Mya Grace Gerken.
A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, with Pastor Jim Downing officiating.
A private family burial will take place at Memorial Park at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
