Sue was taken from us too early, yet God is the one who is in control. Sue has great faith. Sue took care of everyone but herself. She would go the extra mile for her patients, family and friends. She kept the Dialysis unit in tip top shape, DaVita got a valuable resource when they hired Susan. Susan was well respected by the Doc's because they knew she was right and had the best interst of the patient. She was one of the founding mother's of Danbury Hospital Nurses Association Unit 47. That was our name when we first organized. She set up our accounting system which is still in effect today. She was her own person. She did not let her age or size stop her from taking tap lessons, she was very happy to perform in her recital. You go girl. She was a nurses nurse and knew what was the right thing to do for her patients and their families and stood her ground to get what she knew was best. The patients in the Dialysis community lost a great advocate, peace be with you Sue.

I am deeply deeply saddened by her passing that caught me by complete surprise, having just seen her and her father at the buffet in wethersfield. We talked at length about work troubles and we were looking forward to working together in Massachusetts. My condolences to her family.. You look will sorely missed by me and the Davita crew.
