Susan Ava (Wilkes) Reed passed away on Saturday, January 3, in Tamarac, Florida. She was born on October 11, 1948, in Hackensack, New Jersey. Susan grew up in Bogota, New Jersey and graduated from Bogota High School. She later made her home in Ipswich, Massachusetts, where she raised her three children. When they were grown, she moved to Coral Springs, Florida, where she spent her later years. Susan loved music, dancing, and spending time at the beach. She especially enjoyed boating and treasured the many years she spent on the water along the coast of Ipswich, Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertram and Joan Wilkes, and by her brother Bertram A. Wilkes Jr. and sister Joan A. DeLeau. Susan leaves behind her sisters, Phyllis Stahl of Bogota, New Jersey, and Judith Petrolia of Westwood, New Jersey; her children Larry Paulaski and his wife Priscilla of Phoenix, Arizona, Frank Reed and his wife Nichole of Plymouth, Michigan; Jennifer Troisi and her husband Michael of Salisbury, Massachusetts, and her beloved grandchildren Victoria O'Brien, Alexander Troisi, William Troisi, Chloe Pangborn, Braydon Paulaski, Lawrence Paulaski, and Gabriela Paulaski. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Susan leaves behind many memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
