Susan "Sue" Richards, age 77, of Akron, passed away on June 21, 2025, at Canterbury Villa. She was born on August 4, 1947, in Akron, OH, to the late Clarence and Francis Arnold.

Sue graduated from Ellet High School and was a proud member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness and the Akron Chargers Car Club. She loved traveling to Canada with her brother, planting flowers, attending car shows, and hula hooping. She earned many awards for her impressive hula hooping skills.

Sue was happily married to David for 51 years until his passing in 2018. She is survived by her children, Brian Richards and Cindy (Jesse) Fisher; son-in-law, Mark Davis; grandchildren, Nate Herbert, Aleshia, J.R. and Jake Fisher, and Summer Davis; and her brother, Bill Arnold.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, David Richards III, and her daughter, Lisa Davis.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 11 am until 1 pm. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Rd, Akron, OH 44320.
