Susan Judith Roberts, born on February 4, 1961, in Estherville, Iowa, passed away on February 3, 2025, just one day shy of her 64th birthday. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Susan dedicated many years to a career in customer service at Southwest Airlines, where her warm demeanor and willingness to help others shone brightly. Along with her husband, Kevin, she also proudly owned the Strasburg Feed Store, nurturing her community with her entrepreneurial spirit.
She was profoundly devoted to spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Her nurturing nature and kind-hearted personality were cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She also engaged in various hobbies, particularly enjoying bowling in Strasburg.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Roberts; daughter, Ashley Roberts; sons, Christopher (Kelly) Roberts and Travis Roberts; and her five grandchildren: Jayden Roberts, Gabriella Roberts, James Roberts, Joslynn Busby, and Trevor Crisp. She is also survived by her siblings, Lori (Joe) Robinson, Angie (Darren) Brooks, and Doug (Jena) Bonser, as well as her mother, Judy Bonser. Her close relationships extended to her nieces and nephews: Sophie (Quincey) Chelton, Dylan Brooks, Jackson Brooks, Kelsi (Tyler) Derden, TJ Derden, Timothy (Christina) Roberts, and Rhiann (John) Demmer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Bonser, and her grandparents, Gladys and Joe Eripelding.
A memorial service celebrating Susan's life will be held at 11:00AM on February 13, 2025, at Mountain View Fellowship Church, located at 1955 Headlight Rd, Strasburg, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made by check to Cops Fighting Cancer, PO Box 441098, Aurora, CO 80044 or online at copsfightingcancer.org.
