Susan Denise Roberts passed away on February 5, 2025. Susan was born on November 22, 1957 at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, TX to Robert and Peggy Yown.
After graduating from Abilene High School, Susan began a long time career in healthcare. Susan was a graduate of Hendrick Medical Center School of Radiography. She worked at Hendrick, Abilene Regional, Goldthwaite, and Comanche County Medical Clinic.
After spending most of her life in the Abilene area, Susan met and married the love of her life, Philip Roberts, on December 31, 1994 and the couple moved to the Brownwood area.
Susan will be deeply missed by her husband Philip Roberts, daughters Brooke Clark, Rae Glasscock and husband Rusty, Nikki Roberts, Jacqueline Fulfer and husband Wade. Sons Earl Johnson and wife Megan and J.W. Johnson and wife Geanna. Her sisters Kelly Meyer, Shelly Yown, and Robin Yown. And her most precious gifts, her grandchildren, Ronnie Johnson and Kimber Glasscock, Cameron, Jacob, and Ashley Fulfer, Clayton Foster, Skie Wilson and husband Daniel, Kaydence, Charley and Kasey Johnson, and Owen and Emalyn Johnson. Her beloved French Bulldogs, Olivia and Velma, and her grandpup Albrecht Fonduer (Fondu). Plus the many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents Walter and Gladys Stephens, Judson and Mary Yown, her father Robert Yown and mother Peggy Yown.
Celebration of Life for Susan Yown Roberts will be Sunday February 16, 2025 at 4pm at the Tuscola Community Center. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a cancer research of your choice.
