It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Susan Catherine Russano, who left us peacefully in her sleep on October 8, 2025, at her home. Born on July 12, 1968, in Plainview, New York, Susan was a proud graduate of Walt Whitman High School in Huntington Station, New York. She lived most of her adult life on Long Island, New York and in Brunswick, Ohio.

Susan was an incredible woman who dedicated her career to marketing research as an analyst. Susan was a loving wife to her husband, Christopher, and a beloved mother to, Dominick Russano (Tori), Danny Russano (Jennifer), Tyler Wohlfelder (Amanda) and Kristen York and grandmother to Autumn, Hannah, and Leah. She was a devoted sister to Karen Reilly (Bobby), and Ray Meyer (Chris). Susan was predeceased by her parents, Paul Otto and Lois Meyer, and her birth-mother, Ruth Korzeng.

Away from work and family, Susan was an enthusiastic member of the darts community, known for her dedication to the sport at Rookie's Sports Bar and Grill and her role as past secretary for the American Dart Organization. She was actively involved with the Cleveland Darter Club, where her cheerful spirit and love for the game brought people together.

Adept in the kitchen, Susan delighted family and friends with many dishes, including her famous Chicken Francese. She was also a savvy shopper who loved to hunt for bargains and put her couponing skills to good use. Most importantly, Susan was always there to lend a hand to those in need, bringing comfort and kindness to everyone around her.

A benefit will be held in her honor at a date to be determined.

Rest in peace, Susan. Your love, laughter, and light will be deeply missed.
