Susan A. Rutkowski

Susan A. Rutkowski, age 71 of Harbor Beach, flew into heaven on the wings of an angel, Saturday, August 2, 2025 She was born on September 5, 1953 in Harbor Beach to the late Robert and Helen (Fitzpatrick) Bosch. She grew up the oldest of three, with two younger brothers: Michael (Kelly) Bosch, and Brian (Jeane) Bosch. As a child Susan enjoyed being in the band, playing powder puff football, spending summers on the beach and horses. She graduated from Harbor Beach High School and went on to get her degree in diagnostic imaging. Sue and Robert Rutkowski were united in marriage on February 14, 1986. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2010. She worked full time at Huron Medical Center and part time at Harbor Beach Community Hospital and Scheurer Health. She loved her job and took great pride in her work. Sue had a heart of gold and would accept anyone who came into her life. whether it be her children's friends or helping out with the concession stand, she was always there to help! She was a part of the Harbor Beach Athletics Association, participated in the foreign exchange student program and was also a member of the United Methodist Church. She was a huge sports fan and knew more statistics than most. she enjoyed picking winning football teams in her work football league and watched all her home teams play. She enjoyed Thursday morning breakfast group and her time to chat with her dear friends. Susan was very proud of her Irish Heritage and she made that known. She was a phenomenal painter and artist and loved taking her inspiration from the lake. With her heart of gold, Susan's great pride was her grandchildren, they were her whole heart. Sue is survived by her children: Sean (Jenny) Guitar of Harbor Beach, Kevin (Chrissy) Guitar of Harbor Beach, Meagan (Special Friend Nate) Rutkowski of Port Hope, 9 grandchildren: Lucas, Hannah, Michael, Dylan, Haleigh, Spencer, Bradan, Madline, Lennon, 2 brothers: Mike (Kelly) Bosch of Georgia, Brian (Jean) Bosch of Harbor Beach, brothers and sisters-in-law: Anthony Rutkowski, Dorothy Kohler, Betty Siemen, Josephine Essenmacher and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband. Funeral Services for Sue will be Friday, August 8, 2025 at 11 am at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, with Pastor Karen Kinney officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Sue will be on Thursday, from 2-8pm at the funeral home, and on Friday, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com
