I didn't have Susan at LRS when I was a student but she was always such a warm and kind presence. Thinking about the her family (and the LRS family).

Condolences to the whole family. I had the pleasure of working with Susan at LRS for the past 4 years. She was a great coworker who always listened and was supportive. I will miss my morning chats with her, her positive outlook on life and her calm demeanor with the students. I will always remember her warmly.

Susan had a generous and warm spirit that benefitted everyone she touched. Susan's positive impact on her students, family and friends will be felt for many years. And she was a great partner for our dear friend, Frank.

We mourn Susan's passing and send our love to all her family and fellow friends. Having known her most of my life, she will be sorely missed. Carole Ann and I may be 1000 miles away, but tonight we are with you all. We only hope we can take comfort in all the wonderful memories we all have in our hearts through the years. She is now with the gang upstairs. May God bless you Susan.

Dear Michael, Sam , Jon, and Frank, extended family and friends,
I am sure life is feeling a bit surreal for all of you. The past few years have been intense, this last year very tough, and today - hard, really hard.
Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, a renowned psychiatrist wrote:
"The reality is you will grieve forever. You will not `get over´ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same again. Nor should you be the same, nor should you want to."
A friend said when we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind. Given the stories I´ve heard over the years Susan truly and deeply loved her family - her sons and their wives, her grandchildren, and Frank. Simply put, Susan left an abundance of love for all of you. Do her right and build on her legacy.
Bruce and I are so very sorry for your loss.
