Susan K. Senn age 75 of Amboy passed away on Saturday June 28, 2025 at OSF St. Katharine Hospital in Dixon. She was born on March 6, 1950 in Amboy, IL the daughter of Elmer and Lois (Brewer) Mortenson. Susan worked for many years at Anchor Coupling in Dixon, Beggs grocery store in Amboy, and provided day care for many that knew her as Grandma Sue. Susan also enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren race motorcycles and attending hill climb events. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Gary Mortenson. Susan is survived by her children Shawn Mortenson of Dixon, Lindsay (Tom) Daniels of Amboy, Chris (Samantha) Senn of Oklahoma, Bobby (Nicci Leffelman) Senn of Sublette, 7 grandchildren, sister Eileen (Dan) Willstead of Dixon, brother Michael Mortenson of Nevada, special friend and care giver Jill Groth, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday July 2, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. A private family burial will take place on Thursday July 3, 2025 at Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
