Susan Shaw Obituary
Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 26, 1945, she was the daughter of William T. and Rose G. (Meyer) Riley.
Susan was a caring and compassionate LPN with Lakeland Healthcare in Haskell, NJ for many years, a faithful follower of Jesus, a trusted friend and adoring mom.
A family statement reads, "Mom was a strong woman - she fought the good fight, finished the race and remained faithful (2 Timothy 4:7). A devoted Christian, she shared her love and belief with all of us. We will miss her dearly, but we know Mom is in Heaven with her Savior, Jesus Christ. We find peace and comfort in that confidence."
She is survived by her daughter, Adrienne F. (Shaw) DeWitt and her husband Leonard W. DeWitt, Jr. of Newtown, CT; son Christopher R. Shaw, his wife Julie A. Shaw, and her granddaughter Elizabeth "Ella" R. Shaw of Warwick, NY; daughter Katherine R. Shaw of Ridgefield Park, NJ; and sister Joanne R. Sendler of Farmington Hills, MI. She was predeceased by her brother William Riley and sister Elizabeth (Riley) Price.
Private arrangements were made.
