Susan Kimberly Silver

Susan Kimberly (nee Brown) Silver, beloved wife, mother, and sister passed away
September 20, 2025, at her home in Jensen Beach, Florida.
Born March 19,1956, she is preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette Brown and
Robert Brown. Susan is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jonathan Silver, and children
Andrew and Emily Silver, sisters Jana (Dave) Moody, Robin Brown, and brother Robert
"Bobby" (Peggy)Brown, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-laws and Aunt
Evelyn.
Susan took on a lot of responsibility as an 8-year- old child, caring for her newborn twin
siblings when her mother became ill.
She is a 1974 Alumni of Meadowdale High School where she was a Lionette. Susan
graduated from University of Dayton with BS in Communications and a Masters in
Psychology.
She had a varied career in Christian radio, serving as a DJ and a program director for a local
Ohio station. She also wrote a family-oriented column for the Western Star News
Lebanon, Ohio. She made contributions as a substitute teacher for the Lebanon and
Covington Ohio school systems. Susan had a great flair for decorative arts and crafts and
was a fabulous cook. She loved her home in Florida, walking on the beach with her friends
and enjoying her pool. Susan was instrumental in introducing many of her family to a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Graveside Services were held Friday, September 26, 2025, at Rolling Oaks Cemetery in
Port St Lucie, Florida.
